I am pleased to offer private guitar and music theory instruction, as well as introductory bass guitar and voice lessons. I am able to travel within the National Capital Region to a student's home, teach at my home studio in Ottawa, or online through Zoom. My rates vary depending on the arrangement, and are affordable and comparable. As a teacher, I provide students with a strong musical foundation around their interests and aspirations, offering musical knowledge, theory, proper technique, and strategies to build on one's preferred style(s) and repertoire. Need a piece of music transcribed or lifted by ear? I can offer music transcription services for popular, rock, and other types of music, either in lead sheet or music notation formats.
AUDIO + VIDEO PRODUCTION
Aside from my 20+ years as a professional musician, I also do basic to intermediate audio engineering and video production. I can record demos; make audition videos for musicians; and record and film live concerts, rehearsals, and studio sessions.
